Andy Lydyard
Mr Lydyard was appointed as President and CEO of Comet Ridge Resources, LLC in July of 2008.
Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Lydyard has served for four and half years as Managing Director of Comet Ridge Limited (ASX Code: COI), a publicly traded Australian oil and gas exploration company that he was instrumental in forming and listing on the Australian Stock Exchange. He relocated to Denver in late 2005 to build a US focused E&P business for Comet Ridge Limited and has assembled a highly experienced and accomplished management team around him.
Mr. Lydyard is a geologist and his career spans 30 years split evenly between North America and Australia. Prior to moving to Australia to join Strike Oil Limited in Perth, Western Australia, he filled a number of technical and managerial roles for J.M. Huber Corporation, culminating with the leadership of the highly successful Coal Seam Gas Business Unit based in Denver.

Craig Jarchow
Mr. Jarchow, working with Mr. McMahon and Mr. Newman, is responsible for managing Pine Brook’s energy investing activities. Mr. Jarchow’s energy industry experience spans over 15 years, in both investing and operations roles.
Prior to joining Pine Brook Mr. Jarchow served as a Director at First Reserve Corporation, a $12-billion private-equity firm that specializes in the energy investments, where he was responsible for sourcing and structuring oil & gas transactions and monitoring various portfolio companies. Prior to joining First Reserve, Mr. Jarchow was an executive at Apache Corporation (NYSE: APA), where he served as an Advisor to the President & CEO, Exploration Manager for the Gulf Coast and Gulf of Mexico, and Director of International Exploration and Business Development. Prior to Apache, Mr. Jarchow was employed by Amoco Corporation, an integrated major oil & gas company.
Mr. Jarchow holds a Ph.D. and an M.S. in geophysics from Stanford University and an M.B.A. from the MIT Sloan School of Management. He is a Fellow of the Geological Society of America, a Senior Lecturer at the MIT Sloan School of Management, and serves on the Stanford School of Earth Sciences Petroleum Investments Committee.

Arnie Chavkin
Mr. Chavkin joined Pine Brook in February 2008, as a Managing Director. He will participate directly in Pine Brook’s energy and financial services sectors focusing on mentoring junior deal professionals, negotiations, due diligence and other areas of the investment process.
Mr. Chavkin possesses over 30 years of financial and investment management experience, including 20 years of experience in the private equity industry. Mr. Chavkin recently completed a 17-year career with JP Morgan Partners (“JPMP”), a multi-billion dollar private equity firm affiliated with JP Morgan Chase, where he was the Chief Investment Officer from 2001 to 2006. Prior to becoming JPMP’s Chief Investment Officer, Mr. Chavkin was responsible, at various times, for building the investment teams and overseeing the firm’s investments in the energy and media/telecommunications industries, and the expansion of the firm’s international presence in Europe, Asia and Latin America. Prior to joining JPMP in 1990, Mr. Chavkin was one of the first members of Chemical Bank’s merchant banking group and its corporate finance group, specializing in mergers and acquisitions and private placements for the energy industry. Prior to Chemical Bank he held positions at Freeport McMoRan, Gulf and Western Industries and Arthur Young & Company.
He currently serves as a director of Encore Energy Partners, a publicly traded energy MLP. In addition, he is a member of the Columbia College Board of Visitors, and the Columbia Business School Board of Overseers. Mr. Chavkin is a Certified Public Accountant and received his B.A. and M.B.A degrees from Columbia University.

Jeff Schneider
Mr. Schneider is the Non-Executive Chairman of Comet Ridge Limited (an Australian public company trading on the Australian Stock Exchange) and is that company’s representative on the Board of Managers for Comet Ridge Resources.
He holds a degree in commerce and has over 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, including 23 years with Woodside Petroleum Limited.
Mr Schneider’s roles at Woodside included General Manager Commercial, accountable for business and strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, as well as business performance of Woodside’s North West Shelf investment.
In this position he was also responsible for marketing all of the company’s products including natural gas, LNG, condensate and oil. Other roles within Woodside included Director Australian Gas where he was responsible for the commercialization of reserves in the Otway Basin, Timor Sea and Browse Basin. Mr Schneider is also Chairman of Strike Oil Limited, another Australian oil and gas explorer..
